model agency: Hostess in Berlin

Hostess in Berlin is a model agency page for the kind of work that runs off an event schedule rather than a camera setup. A call here is placed against a check-in time, a visitor-facing block and a handover, so the brief has to name the venue, the hours and what the role actually asks of the person standing at it.

Settle these three before the day

• The event calendar and its travel across the city, because a Berlin show or fair can sit anywhere from one borrowed venue to another and the working day follows the production site.
• The scope of the post itself, since a welcome-only stand and a role that explains product or captures data are different jobs even at the same door.
• The usage rights for any pictures taken on location, including which media they appear in, in which territories and for how long.

A booker who writes the project type, the date, the venue, the budget and the look wanted sends a brief that can be answered. The rest is settled in the conversation the profile opens, away from this site, where the rate and the terms are agreed in writing before the first shift starts.
